More Vaccines Means More Vax Clinics in Lane County

Tiffany Eckert

Lane County Public Health announced they will open a third COVID-19 mass vax site this weekend. Officials said this is because the county has received an increased allocation of vaccine from Oregon Health Authority—nearly 23-thousand doses this week.

The mass vax locations are Lane Community College, Autzen Stadium and Lane Events Center. In addition, mobile vaccination missions and micro clinics are being held throughout the week to reach front line workers and populations with barriers to access.

On Wednesday, Occupy Medical and Black Thistle Street Aid will hold an outdoor clinic to vaccinate people living under the Washington/Jefferson Bridge in Eugene.
