For a 12th consecutive day, protests continued in Eugene Tuesday.

Starting at the Valley River Center in the early evening, about 200 demonstrators marched to 7th Avenue, before eventually returning to the mall. The 2 hour protest, against police brutality and in support of the Black Lives Matter movement, shut down part of I-105 amidst chants of “disrupt not destroy” and the names of African-Americans who’ve died at the hands of white police officers around the U.S.

Tuesday's protest was organized by a group called Black Unity. It ended peacefully around 8:30 p.m.
