Upper McKenzie

Some electricity customers along the McKenzie River east of Springfield will be receiving bills from a new utility company this month. The move will help the area’s other utility, Lane Electric Cooperative, create more resilient infrastructure.

The Upper McKenzie Community Center served as a warming center during the storm and is still offering internet access for some neighbors.
