Late June To See Another I-105 Construction Project

ODOT

Following a four-week shutdown of the eastbound Interstate 105 ramp in downtown Eugene that starts Monday (5/20), another one will start June 24th

ODOT spokesperson Angela Beers Seydel says that phase will close the westbound I-105 off-ramp onto Sixth Avenue.

“The great news is that we will not completely be closing the 7th Avenue on and off ramps," she tells KLCC.  "We managed to work around them with all of the work that we’ve been doing.

"So you will have lane closures for about 10 days, to do that bridge joint that goes between the ramp and the actual bridge.  But they will not be fully closed at any time.”

Beers Sydel adds bumps in I-105 will go away in September, when road crews will pave the upgraded highway. Drivers need to slow down and watch for workers in the meantime.
