The Sunday Market is a farmers and makers market featuring local food, farms and artisan crafts. Held on the newly remodeled grounds of the Lincoln City Cultural Center in the heart of Lincoln City. Live music each week from 11-1.

Together with hundreds of partners and working groups across the United States, the Corvallis Sun Day Festival will celebrate solar and wind power and help the U.S. accelerate its transition to clean energy.

Sun Day is a global day of action on September 21st, 2025, celebrating the unstoppable rise of clean energy. We’ll come together to showcase the power of the sun and wind, the energy sources that can power our world without pollution.

The purpose of SUN Day is to draw communities together while celebrating the potential of clean energy and advocating for a rapid transition away from fossil fuels. Third Act members are the primary hosts for these events.

In Corvallis the event will run September 21 from 11:00 – 3:00pm, in Central Park. There will be live music, solar PV and solar cooking demonstrations, a children’s solar hour, solar vendors, and non-profits like Seeds for the Sol who help people pay for solar installations. This will be fun – and informative!

Celebrate mushrooms and all things fungi at the 2nd Annual Albany Mushroom Festival on Sunday, September 21, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Timber Linn Park in Albany, Oregon. This family-friendly event invites curious minds and mushroom lovers to enjoy a full day of food, music, activities, and learning.

Explore mushroom-inspired eats, live music, games, hands-on workshops, and a market filled with unique mushroom-themed products. Educational talks and materials will be available throughout the day, hosted by industry experts.

Whether you’re an art aficionado or just looking for a fun and inspiring day out, the Coastal Plein Air event offers something for the whole family. Stroll through the paintings which were painted in the last 2 weeks outside along our beautiful Oregon coastline, interact with artists, and perhaps discover a new favorite piece of art that you have to have.

This is a FREE event for the whole community filled with live performances, arts and crafts, food trucks, games, awards, and a community mural!

This event is in celebration of the International Day of Peace, which occurs on September 21st every year. It will take place at the Nobel Peace Park on Sunday, September 21, 2025, from 12:00pm – 4:00pm.

Special guests Marcus Nobel (descendent of Alfred Nobel) and Eugene Mayor, Kaarin Knudson, will be present. This is a youth focused event but fun for people of all ages!

SUN Day is a national day of action to celebrate the power of clean energy.

Solar energy is now the cheapest and fastest growing source of power on the planet, increasingly available to help consumers accelerate the clean energy revolution. On the Fall Equinox people across the country will showcase solar installations, electric homes and businesses, and vehicles running on clean power.

Locally, Third Act of Oregon/Eugene, 350 Eugene and others have planned an afternoon of teach-ins, interactive displays and tabling, children’s activities and music to provide resources and fun for all. The event will culminate in a brief demonstration highlighting the link between protecting democracy and advancing a clean energy future, for those who wish to participate.

“We have the technology and the solutions to make clean energy a reality. What we need is the political will to make it happen. If we educate ourselves on what is possible and advocate for more access to solar resources, we can make it happen,” said Patty Hine, 350 Eugene co-president.

There will be five teach-ins offered.
1) The ABCs of Solar - Better understand the basics of solar energy and electrification. Comprehensive information on solar and home battery storage. Presented by Nicole Maticic of Solar Oregon.
2) Solar Installation - Nuts and Bolts - Thinking about how to do your own solar project? What’s involved in a solar project on a home or business? What are the costs and benefits? Hear from local installers Vince McClellan, Jeremiah Chavez and Jonah Witten of Energy Design.
3) The Present and Future of Clean Energy in Oregon - What is the status of Oregon law and resources for clean energy? What is possible now with some federal funding going away? How can we influence policy to support advancement? Edith Bayer, Oregon Dept. of Energy, Energy Systems Senior Policy Analyst.
4) Citizen Activism Amps Up Solar Projects - Local volunteers have advocated for solar projects with local government and non-profits with some tangible, positive results. Learn about how people power can make a difference with Doug Bovee, 350 Eugene volunteer.
5) Democracy and the Climate - The technology and solutions to achieve a clean energy world are here. We just need to make it happen. How can we achieve that, especially with current democracy back-sliding? What is the role of non-cooperation and activism? Stan Taylor, Indivisible Eugene-Springfield.

Third Sunday BLUEGRASS Jam from 1 – 4 p.m at the Sutherlin Senior Center (202 East Central Ave., Sutherlin. Come to the THIRD SUNDAY Bluegrass Jam - 1 PM till 4 PM. PPA Presents Big Bad Voodoo Daddy in a Benefit Concert for the Kids with 100% of All Profits Going to the Music Programs at Brookings-Harbor School District in Oregon and the Del Norte Unified School District in Northern California

Get tickets now for Big Bad Voodoo Daddy performing a live outdoor concert for a great cause at Azalea Park in Brookings, Oregon September 21, 2025 from 3pm to 5pm.

Whether you are already a fan or have yet to discover Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, they are coming to Brookings to get your toes tapping and the dance floor shaking with their high-octane dance music. Brought to you by PPA, the nonprofit Partnership for the Performing Arts, this concert begins with a brief opening act by the combined jazz bands of Brookings-Harbor and Del Norte High Schools.

Following the benefit concert in Azalea Park, there are a limited number of tickets available to those 21 and older to attend a private event at an intimate oceanfront setting on the Oregon Coast, to celebrate with the members of Big Bad Voodoo Daddy. A tax-deductible donation of $100 per person will provide a fun evening enjoying a variety of fine wine, beer, & food, a beautiful sunset, and most importantly spending one-on-one time with the iconic members of the band.

Partnership for the Performing Arts (PPA) hosts numerous concerts and fundraising events throughout the year with the ultimate goal of building a 800-seat Performing Arts & Civic Center on the campus of Del Norte High School in Crescent City, California that will serve both Northern California and Southern Oregon student music programs, the arts, the local community and visitors. Marisa Frantz is joined by Siri Vik, Jessye Kellogg and Lynnea Barry for a continuation of her celebration of the rich and varied folk rock scene of the late '60s and '70s with a focus on the great female artists of the period, including but not limited to Judy Collins, Joan Baez, Joni Mitchell, Mimi Farina, Stevie Nicks, Janis Joplin, Nico, Marianne Faithful, and Janis Ian.
