Eugene Adds More Public Restrooms, Handwashing Stations

Melorie Begay

The City of Eugene has added more public bathrooms and handwashing stations around the city. It’s an effort to help people prevent the spread of COVID-19 by washing their hands frequently.

On Tuesday, the City’s Emergency Operations Center installed 25 additional portable restrooms, bringing the total around the city to nearly 40. There are about 50 handwashing stations set up around Eugene. The city has an online mapof the public portable restrooms and handwashing stations.
