The deadline to vote in the primary election is tonight at 8 p.m.
Lane County Clerk Cheryl Betschart expects around a 30 percent return for this election which is in line with similar primaries. She says everyone should have received their ballots by now.
“We want to remind people to just find that envelope. It’s still time to open it up, review the material and vote. And ballots need to be received by 8 o’clock Tuesday, Election Day, May 15th.”
It is too late to mail in ballots. They must be delivered to an official county drop site. If you are wondering where those are or have other questions, Betschart says to contact your county elections office.
Voters can also go to Oregonvotes.gov to check on registration status.
