Cape Foulweather

Sitting atop a bluff at the mouth of the Yaquina River is a small wooden lighthouse in need of repair. Soon, this piece of Oregon Coast history will undergo restorations meant to last for generations to come.

In Oregon, a coastal piece of the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indian’s ancestral territory have been restored. Monday's announcement coincides with the 47th anniversary of the tribe regaining federal recognition.
