Hoyle declares victory in 4th District re-election effort

Freshman Democratic U.S. Rep. Val Hoyle declared victory after initial returns showed her with a significant lead Tuesday evening.

Democratic incumbent Val Hoyle and Republican challenger Monique DeSpain. Recent federal campaign finance filings show Hoyle has raised more than $2 million in funds and DeSpain has raised nearly $700,000.
