Jan Eliot Retires from Daily Stone Soup Cartooning

Jan Eliot has spent the past twenty years drawing the syndicated comic strip Stone Soup.  The adventures of the messy matriarchal family have run in hundreds of newspapers, generated ten books, and helped earned Jan Eliot the Women Make a Difference Award at the International Women’s Forum. But all things must end, and she has decided to cease drawing the daily strip, although continuing to draw the Sunday one. The last daily strips will run the week of October 12th. She speaks with Eric Alan about the transition.

Interview with Jan Eliot (extended version).
