Eugene Musicians Against Sexual Violence Begin a Crucial Community Conversation

  “Every Body Deserves Respect” is the title and topic of a discussion to be hosted by Eugene Musicians Against Sexual Violence, at Shadowfox Gallery on Broadway in Eugene on Tuesday, October 18th at 5 p.m., launching a new series of Tuesday Talks there. 

It will include panelists from the UO’s Crisis Intervention and Sexual Violence Support Services, the UO’s Sexual Wellness Advocacy Team, self-defense organization Warrior Sisters, and Men Against Rape Culture. The facilitator will be Jennifer Cheddar, one of the founders of Eugene Musicians Against Sexual Violence, also guitarist and singer in the band Pancho and the Factory. She speaks with Eric Alan about the prevalence of the issue in the music community and beyond, and seeks practical and positive solutions.
