Eleanor Roosevelt: Across a Barrier of Fear is a one-woman play by Sharon Whitney, featuring Jane VanBoskirk.
It traces the former first lady’s path from a moneyed but troubled childhood to her influential and controversial place in American history. It will be performed at the Wildish Theater in Springfield on Thursday, April 20th in a benefit for Planned Parenthood, sponsored by the Eugene Weekly. Jane VanBoskirk joins Eric Alan in the KLCC studios to talk about Eleanor Roosevelt's lasting legacy and modern relevance.
