DREPUNG GOMANG SACRED ARTS TOUR
Eight monks from Drepung Gomang Monastery will create a sand mandala in Eugene. The ritual is dedicated to the long life of HH the Dalai Lama, world peace, and the benefit of all sentient beings.

The monks will be in Eugene from May 21 - 25, 2025. The mandala will be constructed at 1685 W. 13th Ave., the Unitarian Universalist Church in Eugene. The building is open from 10 am to 3 pm Monday through Thursday, 9 am to 4 pm Sunday, and will be open special hours Friday and Saturday for this event.
Public attendance is encouraged.
Admission is free.
Donations to cover the expenses of the monks and their travel are greatly appreciated.
The opening ceremony will be Wednesday morning, May 21.
The next three days the monks will be constructing and chanting, and your attendance is appreciated.
Sunday morning there will be a viewing of the completed mandala. The closing ceremony will also be Sunday, including chanting, deconstruction of the mandala, and sharing the blessed sand.
