The Tibetan monks of Gaden Shartse Monastery return to Newport, Oregon June 8th through the 15th for a full week of colorful and enlightening Tibetan rituals, meditation, sand mandala, and butter sculpture workshops, music and cultural presentations, talks, pet blessings, monk-made-meals, and more.

Most events will be held at the Samaritan Center for Health Education, 740 SW 9th Street in Newport, but some events are off-site, so for a complete schedule and more information, contact the Lincoln County Friends of Tibet at 530-748-9365 or email LincolnCountyTibet@gmail.com

All proceeds raised benefit the Gaden Shartse Cultural Foundation, providing support for the monks living in the Tibetan Refugee Zone in Southern India.
