As COVID-19 cases increase, Lane County Jail has housed 26 positive cases over the past month. As of Nov. 2, the jail has performed more than 3,436 COVID-19 tests, and39 people have tested positive.
That’s 567 new tests and 26 new positive cases since Oct. 7.
Lane County Public Health said they have not heard of any Lane County staff testing positive for COVID-19.
The Lane County Sheriff's Office updates the county jail’s COVID-19 testing numbers once a week.
