The first phase of the Next Generation Housing Development Plan, under construction since last summer, is set to be completed in Fall 2027. It comes as the school faces declining enrollment.

Enrollment at OSU’s campuses topped 38,000 for the first time in the university’s history this term.

While the numbers won’t be final until school starts in late September, Oregon State University looks to have a record number of students this fall, for the 28th straight year.

That’s not the case for every school. Oregon State reports record enrollment this fall.

Although enrollment only fell slightly at Oregon’s community colleges this year, compared to 2019 it’s down nearly 24%.
