The city of Eugene bought EWEB's riverfront building to use as the new City Hall.

Eugene is one step closer to getting a City Hall for the first time in more than a decade. The Eugene City Council voted Monday night to approve the purchase of the former EWEB headquarters.

The former Eugene Water and Electric Board (EWEB) headquarters at Eugene’s riverfront appears destined to become the new City Hall.
