The Lane Transit District is extending their campaign to encourage people to get vaccinated for COVID-19.
The decision follows a surge in cases in Lane County and Oregon.
“Given the steady increase in COVID-19 cases locally and nationally, we believe it is important for LTD to continue its 'Get Vaxed' campaign through the end of next month,” said Aurora Jackson, LTD’s General Manager in a release.
In addition, LTD is reminding riders that it’s a federal requirement to wear a mask while using public transportation.
