As 2020 comes to a close with increasing COVID-19 cases, the Hult Center of Eugene is bringing back the ‘At Home Talent Show.’
The “Still At Home Talent Show: Holiday Edition” has four categories - holiday movement, original song, classic reinterpretation and 2020 holiday card.
Marketing Director Rich Hobby says even though the Hult Center is closed to in-person events, the goal of the talent show is to create community.
“We know it’s been a doozy of a year. But, we do ask that people keep the snowballs above the belt because this is for a family audience,” said Hobby. “We’re just looking for what can bring some smiles to some faces. And we know it’s not the same connection, but there still isn’t a reason for us not to try and to feel a little closer to one another.”
Holiday pet photos can also be submitted on social media using the #StillHomeTalentShow.
The deadline to enter is 11:59 p.m. Thursday, December 10th.
Detailed guidelines can be found on the Hult Center website.
