Deepening Your Writing Practice with Tarot

Deepening Your Writing Practice with Tarot

Stuck in a creative rut? Tarot can help you out of your head and back into the flow. Join author Meg Hayertz in the Wordcrafters studio for a day of intuitive inspiration, writing magic, and soulful support.

You sit down to write and…your inner critic steps in. Whether you’re struggling with writer’s block, battling imposter syndrome, suffering from low self-confidence, or just want something fresh and fun in your craft toolbox, the Tarot can help.

Tarot works because it communicates with your subconscious through symbols, speaking directly to the parts of your psyche (and your characters’) that resist logic, reason, and productivity hacks. Tarot creates space for your subconscious to dream, play, and speak through symbols, emotions, and intuitive hunches. These mysterious and elusive messages from your own subconscious are often the missing ingredients that help a stalled piece of writing to flow again.

In this fun and unique daylong workshop, you’ll learn how to use tarot cards as a source of writing inspiration and discover how to trust your storytelling voice. You’ll also receive a personal tarot reading from Meg about your characters, plot, or a creative block, giving you fresh insight into your writing.

What you’ll get from this workshop
-The four steps to turn a creative block or challenge into resonant writing using tarot
-Personalized Tarot insight into your characters, plot, or process
-Deeper connection with your intuition
-Renewed confidence in your storytelling skills
-Fresh writing on the page, and new perspectives on your current projects
-The secret to consistently access creative flow

What to bring:
-Your tarot deck if you have one (decks will also be available to borrow)
-Your curious, open mind

Meg’s Teaching Philosophy

Meg believes writing is a magical, messy, and deeply human practice. She creates spaces where play and intuition guide the process, and where writers feel seen, supported, and inspired. Her workshops blend practical tools with a sense of wonder, helping writers reconnect with their stories and themselves.
