Family Friendly Cider Pressing at Thompson's Mills
Thompson’s Mills Preservation Society announces family friendly old fashioned cider pressing events at Thompson’s Mills State Heritage Site. Dates are Saturdays, September 21, October 12 and 26 from 11AM to 3PM. The park is open dawn to dusk, so bring a picnic, take a tour and learn about Oregon’s only remaining water powered mill, built 1858, before lending a hand at the press and sampling the delicious cider. Half gallon jugs are available by donation. There will be a special children’s story time at 10:30 with Rebecca Martin.
