Friends is excited to announce our Open House and in-person Plant Sale Event on May 4th from 9am to 1pm!

This event will host a tour of our native plant nursery, trail tours by Friends' workers and key staff, and information about ongoing projects including staff from the Diez Ecology Lab at the University of Oregon to discuss their collaborative research with Friends on the evolutionary potential to rescue species from climate change.

-Nursery Tour by Gail Baker at 12 pm - Gail is a retired Lane Community College Botanist
-Trail Development Tour hosted by Friends' Staff
-Pollinator Garden Tour by Alan & Janet Butler and Dave Predeek
-Research presentations by current lab members of the Diez Ecology Lab and their findings with the Scarlet Monkeyflower

This event will be one of the last chances to browse a number of our thriving native plants available for purchase!
