Fruit Tree Grafting w/ Kevin Prier

Fruit Tree Grafting w/ Kevin Prier
Learn how to graft your own fruit tree from Kevin Prier of Agrarian Sharing Network, and take home your own FREE fruit tree! 🌳 Demos start at 11 and 12 inside the Pavilion, and are free to attend.
To make the best fruit products, you need to start with the best fruit. The Agrarian Sharing Network are stewards to some of the premier fruit collections in the region, and offer hundreds of the best regionally adapted fruit varieties free to the public through a series of Spring Propagation Fairs with the goal of increasing local food diversity and food security.
Kevin Prier is a core member of the Agrarian Sharing Network and teaches Sustainable Living skills through the City of Eugene and River Road Community Center. He will be demonstrating grafting skills – the process of reproducing desirable fruit varieties onto new roots – and giving the resulting trees free to Market patrons. You can learn more about the Agrarian Sharing Network through their website (agrariansharing.net) or on Facebook (Agrarian Sharing Network). You can learn more about Kevin’s classes by searching for “Urban Homesteading” in the Eugene Rec catalog or from his website (suburbanhomecraft.com).
