Holiday Lights Community Bike Ride

Holiday Lights Community Bike Ride
Thrive Umpqua will host the 2nd annual Holiday Lights Community Bike Ride through the Hucrest neighborhood of Roseburg, Oregon. The ride will be led with the help of community partners Bike Walk Roseburg and the Umpqua Valley Tennis Center.
The family-friendly bike ride will follow a 3.3 mile route, and riders of all abilities are invited to join. The ride will be led at a leisurely pace, with volunteers stationed throughout the ride. To create a festive atmosphere, riders are encouraged to decorate themselves and/or their bicycles in holiday lights and costumes.
Residents from all over are encouraged to get their bikes tuned up, and grab their families for what is sure to be another highlight (pun intended) of the holiday season. The ride will conclude back at the Umpqua Valley Tennis Center with hot chocolate & cookies to warm everyone up.
Riders are requested to arrive by 5:45 pm (or earlier) at the Umpqua Valley Tennis Center. Helmets and bike lights are required for safety and are available for those who need them. A brief safety talk will be given by Bike Walk Roseburg, then the group will depart for Hucrest at 6:00 pm.
If the ride gets rained out, it will be rescheduled to Thursday, December 21st, 2023 at 6:00 pm. The community can see updates on the Facebook event page.
