The Jazz Station's One Set Wednesday concert series is dedicated to showcasing the talents of emerging student musicians. This evening features an exciting performance of original compositions and arrangements by drummer Jay Veach, titled Bold and Excellent. The concert will blend saxophone and vocals in a heartfelt tribute to jazz standards. Bring your instruments and join us for a jam session hosted by pianist Keith Brown immediately following the performance.

Jay Veach is a drummer, vocalist, composer, and arranger based in Oregon. He serves as the Music Teams Director at New Hope West, Drum Instructor at MPAC (Music and Performing Arts Center), and Music Director of Generations Wedding and Events Band. He is also the drummer for the Herb Merker JazzArts Oregon Group.
