New York-based trumpeter and composer Josh Deutsch leads an all-star group including long-time collaborators Sean Peterson on bass and Ken Mastrogiovanni on drums. Deutsch has performed with many jazz and world music visionaries – including Lila Downs, Sofia Rei and Dafnis Prieto.

This summer concert will present Deutsch’s original music along with selected arrangements from great composers in the jazz canon. The audience can also look forward to guest appearances from members of the University of Oregon Jazz Camp faculty.

Deutsch brings uplifting and delightful interpretations to both familiar standards and new compositions.
