Jonathan Corona is a performing jazz saxophonist and licensed music educator who resides in Eugene, Oregon. He holds a B.M. and M.M. in Jazz Studies from the University of Oregon, received in 2017 and 2019 respectively. In addition, he obtained a second Master's in Teaching with a Music Endorsement from Western Oregon University in 2021.

Jonathan is an active and in-demand jazz saxophonist with over a decade of professional experience. His connections and performing skills are highly regarded within Oregon's music community, as well as other parts of the country where globally renowned musicians have taken notice to his playing.

Will Glausi is a saxophonist, multi-instrumentalist, composer, teacher and entrepreneur from Portland, Oregon. He was awarded 1st place at the state saxophone competition for all four years of high school and was a finalist at the NASA international convention in 2020. He studied privately under Steve Owen, Idit Shner, Keith Brown and Paul Krueger for his bachelor’s degree in jazz studies in ’23 [BAM]. He has also spent time performing in New York City, including being placed in Russell Hall’s band and performing with Benny Benack, James Carter, Sean Mason, and his brother, Tony Glausi.

David Morgenroth, a native Montanan, is a solo and collaborative artist in classical, jazz and popular genres. He holds graduate degrees in both classical piano and jazz studies from the University of North Texas (UNT), including the first doctoral degree in jazz performance awarded by that institution. He has performed across the United States and Canada as well as in Europe, Asia and South America, with such luminaries as Michael Brecker, Buddy DeFranco, Benny Golson, Lionel Hampton, Freddie Hubbard, Gary Peacock, Toots Thielemans, and Joe Williams.

David's principal teachers include Fred Hersch, Dan Haerle, Art Lande, and Chuck Marohnic (jazz); Dr. Lucien Hut, Dr. Steven Harlos, Sophia Rosoff, and Dr. Jack Roberts (classical); and Dr. John Murphy (research). Teaching jobs include Arizona State University, UNT, the University of Montana, and Western Oregon University.

David has released four recordings under his own name, collaborating with notables like Chris Potter and Bob Sheppard (saxophones), Drew Gress and Chris Colangelo (bass), and Joe LaBarbera (drums). Bill Donaldson of Jazz News writes, “Morgenroth provides evidence of a style shaped by intelligence, clarity of conception, and even an elegance that shimmers. He possesses both invention and originality of sound in abundance.”

Eli Hansen is an upright and electric bassist, synthesist, and educator from Roseburg, Oregon and is an active member of the Pacific Northwest music scene. As a freelance musician, he has supported artists such as Julia Logue, Neil Gregory Johnson, The Graduating Class, and The Monarch Hotel. In addition to being a live performer, he is a private educator of electric and upright bass.

Oregon-based drummer, Ken Mastrogiovanni, brings a unique sensibility and modern voice to the drums and music, making him a rising musician of his generation in his scene.

The very early years of his music environment was shaped by his older brother’s j-pop, ska, and electronic bands, as well as listening to the latest jazz and avant-garde music his father played at home. This would subconsciously influence his musical interests and vocabulary going forward.

Starting drum set at the age of eleven, his musical adventure was fueled by many important mentors, eventually leading him to recent performance opportunities as a sideman with such artists as Jaleel Shaw, George Colligan, Dick Oatts, Jim Rotondi, Roxy Coss, Clay Jenkins, Bruce Williams, Geoffrey Keezer, John Raymond, Remy Le Boeuf and the Redshift Trio.

He completed his M.M. in Jazz Studies at the University of Oregon, and is now the drum set instructor at his alma mater in addition to maintaining his own private lesson studio.

Producing under the title, “kenthemaestro”, he creates beats that transcend genre, often collaborating with MCs and other creative musicians.
