Springfield, OR – Celebrate National Poetry Month with the Springfield Public Library! “This April we are overjoyed to host the celebrated Chilean poet Jesús Sepúlveda,” said Spanish Language Services Librarian Kristen Curé. “This year our two ongoing literary series, Springfield Celebrates Authors and the Spanish language book club Grupo de Lectura, are coming together for this special community event.” Come to the Springfield Public Library at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday April 8th and to meet Sepúlveda, hear his poetry and have a chance to talk with him about his Spanish and English bilingual collection Espejo de los detalles / Mirror of Details.

How to participate:
Everyone is welcome at the author event on April 8th! Sign up in advance to get a free copy of the book (while supplies last). All are invited to join a second bilingual discussion of this book at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday May 3rd.
