On Wednesday, Lane Community College held a virtual board meeting to discuss their bond measure to improve LCC facilities. Now, the board is finalizing steps before the May primary.

The LCC education board unanimously approved an outline of operations for the bond oversight committee.

The committee will include no more than eleven members total. At least three will be from the construction industry, LCC, and the community at-large. Bond committee members will meet no less than once a year and review quarterly updates from LCC.

LCC, which holds the license for KLCC, will have four virtual town halls about the bond measure before the May 19 election. The first town hall will take place on April 21.

The virtual town halls will take place on April 21, April 30, and two on May 9.
