An allergy specialist says tree pollen is in the air now, with grass pollen coming out soon throughout the Willamette Valley.

“We are recommending to our patients to start their seasonal allergy regimen," says Marilyn Wayne, nurse practitioner at Oregon Allergy Associates.  "And a lot of those medications are available other the counter now.  It would be a good time to get those, because I imagine that some of those may be in shorter supply if everybody has a big run on them in the next few weeks, as the pollen counts really climb.”

Wayne adds they’re servicing clients with video chats to provide consultation…while also observing proper social distancing during the COVID-19 pandemic.
