On this week's Friday Show, Dr. Patrick Luedtke says hospitalizations for COVID-19 have gone down from more than 100 per day to less than 50. He says hospital stays are shorter too. But, there are several outbreaks at K-12 schools in Lane County.

If you have questions for next week's Friday Show please send them to news at klcc dot org as an email or voice memo or leave us a voicemail at 503-877-3198.

A correction: Rachael McDonald asked Dr. Luedtke about the possiblity of Covid-19 vaccine mandates for children. The mandate annoucned by California Governor Gavin Newsom will apply to all school aged children once a vaccine is approved for children 5 years and older.
