More than two dozen people showed up to express their concerns over a proposal that would give the Lane County Board of Commissioners more power over the initiative process.
The ordinance is currently being researched by the county staff. It could block ballot measures the Board doesn’t think pertain to the county.
The board has tabled further discussions of the proposal until September.
