Podcast Explores Mystery Of Missing Eugenean Michael Bryson

Let's Find Michael Bryson! Facebook page

It’s been more than two months since 27-year-old Michael Bryson disappeared in the woods outside Cottage Grove. Now a Eugene podcaster is focused on the case.

Amanda Popineau launched “Nowhere to be Found” in late September.  At last check, it’s been downloaded 7,200 times.

She has some connection to the family. Bryson’s father was a UPS driver for an office Popineau worked at for a while. She’s been astounded by all the interest in the podcast, which could perhaps lead to some breaks in the case.

“That would be a dream come true, I mean the more I’ve gotten to know this family over time, and the friends involved and everyone who’s searched, even strangers - everyone is just amazing people," Popineau told KLCC.

"They’re normal people that live in Eugene just like us, and I’d love to help them in any way that I can, so if this was the thing that was the straw in the camel’s back then, that’s awesome, thank God.”

The “Nowhere to be Found” podcast is found on many popular platforms. Bryson walked away from a party on the morning of August 5th from the Brice Creek Road Area.
