“A park ranger noticed that a door in a building near park headquarters was ajar, went to investigate, and noticed ammunition was missing from the area where it’s generally kept," says Evans.

"This is a joint investigation involving the Investigative Services Branch, park rangers here, Oregon State Police, and state and local agencies.”

The rifle and pistol ammunition was stored in the park’s headquarters, as part of its law enforcement program.

A $1,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of those responsible.
