More snow fell Tuesday evening in the South Willamette Valley. The valley floor got several more inches. And more snow is falling Wednesday morning.
Temperatures through the weekend will stay roughly the same – lows of 30 to highs in the 40s. National Weather Service Meteorologist Miles Higa explains why the snow is likely to stay a while.
“Probably see the snow stick around for a while even though we’ll get some sunshine, does not look like temperatures will really warm up to really take care of the snow on the ground.”
Higa stresses that travelers should be aware roads could have black ice or continued slick conditions as the snow melts during the day and refreezes overnight.
The Southern Willamette Valley could also see another dusting of less than an inch on Wednesday evening.
