Snow could fall in the Willamette Valley Tuesday night and Wednesday morning. But if it does, accumulations should be minimal. That’s the word from the National Weather Service in Portland.

“We’re going to be right around the temperatures where we’re going to see in some places a mix of rain and snow, and some places all snow, at least for a period of time in the morning,” said forecaster Andy Bryant.

The forecast is more certain for the Oregon Coast Range, where there’s a winter weather advisory in effect Wednesday for up to four inches of snow. Bryant said that will likely impact travel Wednesday morning between the valley and the coast.

Road conditions and closure notices can be viewed on ODOT’s website, tripcheck.com.
