Oregon Democrat Peter DeFazio has won a 15th term in the U.S. House of Representatives. He arrived at a Democratic watch party at Cozmic Pizza in downtown Eugene Tuesday night to a throng of supporters.
Representative DeFazio reflected on the mid-term election and his opponent, Art Robinson.
DeFazio: "It's not the greatest night for Democrats nationally. But I'm feeling good about Oregon at this point. We're a little island of sanity. You know I had Mr. Robinson again with his Wall Street billionaire who's now one of the largest contributors so for to the Republicans and super-PACs, and we cleaned their clock."
Art Robinson conceded Oregon's 4th District U.S. House race to Peter DeFazio Tuesday. He spoke at the Rogue Brewery in Eugene
Robinson: "It's clear, there's enough results in and it's clear we won't win this race. And I'm disappointed to see that our Republican party will not win some of the other races either."
Robinson said he's ready to run against DeFazio again:
Citing his work as a chemist, Robinson said sometimes, a solution can take years.
