Smoky air continues to plague most of Oregon Monday. The air quality was rated hazardous in Eugene and Springfield Sunday.
According to LRAPA, the Air Quality Index was at 400 at one point on Sunday in Eugene.
The Register Guard reports this is most unhealthy air conditions have been in 25 years for the area. Lane County Public Health advises people to remain indoors when the air quality is this poor. There are more than 800 wildfires burning in the region. The forecast says a shift in winds will blow away smoke later this week bringing relief and cooler temperatures.
