Lane County voters will have four new ballot drop boxes to use in this November’s election. Three are traditional ballot boxes, but one will be a “smart” drop box.
Important Election Dates
October 13, 2026
Last day to register to vote.
October 14, 2026
First day ballots are mailed to voters.
November 3, 2026 Election Day
Last day for voter to return ballot. Ballots that are mailed must be postmarked by November 3. Ballots deposited in an official drop box must be received by 8 p.m..
December 10, 2026
Final election results certified.

Democratic incumbent Val Hoyle is in a rematch against critics on both the left and right in the race to represent Oregon’s 4th Congressional District. Hoyle again faces Republican Monique DeSpain, a retired Air Force Colonel, and Pacific Green Party candidate Justin Filip.
