City Club of Eugene is a membership organization committed to building community vision through open inquiry. The club meets every Friday at noon. KLCC airs each meeting on the following Monday at 7:00 pm.

Four of the eight Eugene City Council seats will be decided in the May primary election, and for three of the seats there are challengers. in this forum, hear from candidates in two of the the contested races.

In this forum, you’ll hear from a proponent of STAR Voting, as well as from the local League of Women Voters president, who will provide an overview of several additional voting reform efforts, including “Ranked Choice Voting” (RCV), which will be on the statewide ballot in November.

While suicide continues to be the second leading cause of death among youth in Oregon, there has been an overall reduction in youth suicide over the last three years. This reduction reflects Oregon’s commitment and funding to expand youth mental health and intervention programs, such as YouthLine and Lines for Life.
